Purple potatoes – a variety called “Purple Majesty”. Purple potatoes are much cooler and have more nutrition than regular white potatoes. These potatoes are purple inside and out.

He grows potatoes with minimal pesticides (most years he has to spray some of the potato plants for potato beetle with a foliar spray) at his farm in Millbrook, and can be found with many more varieties of potatoes at the downtown peterborough farmer’s market.
