We have only seconds-quality butternut squash – they will have some little bruises or cuts that you’ll have to cut off. But honestly, they look pretty good, not many spots to remove.

Butternut squash are one of the best and most popular squash.

One of my favorite ways to cook them is to cube them and pan fry them to perfection in butter and garlic, italian style. It’s a bit labor intensive, but your patience is greatly rewarded.
